Floorcloth Project

I recently completed a Floorcloth Project. I have made floorcloths in the past but I had painted the designs on them. They are amazingly durable and easy to clean. I made one for my mother’s kitchen and it lasted many years.

Now that I am able to design patterns I decided to make a floorcloth with one of my designs. I went to my local Fed Ex store and gave them the dimensions I needed and they printed my design on the canvas. In the past, I used a heavier weighted canvas #10 or #12 are recommended. Fed Ex only has one kind of canvas but this was an experimental project, I was happy with the outcome. This one was for my small power room. I had another canvas printed because Fed Ex had a Buy One Get One Free Sale. My next one is for my kitchen, I will post a picture of that one when I am done. Stay tuned!
