So Excited!

I received this email yesterday from Skillshare! I was so excited to teach this class. As I have noted in my postings. This is the class that I wished was available to me when I was trying to learn Adobe Illustrator on my own. So often when you take Adobe Illustrator online courses they assume you know the basics. This course will teach you the basics.

When I wanted to learn Adobe Illustrator I was confident I could do it on my own because I had been working with computers since before Windows was available. My background was in banking and real estate. So I was used to computer programs with numbers and spreadsheets and contracts.

When I first opened Adobe Illustrator the program interface was so foreign to me. I finally found an online course to take which was very good but it assumed I knew the very basic tools, commands, and keyboard shortcuts.

For those of you who have taken my class or anyone interested in learning the basics of Adobe Illustrator, I welcome you to use this blog platform to ask any questions regarding the basics of Adobe Illustrator. While this class is taught through the lens of pattern design it is for anyone who is interested in or struggling to learn the basics of Adobe Illustrator. Again, I welcome any questions regarding the basics of Adobe Illustrator.
